The Development Office love to hear about alumni reunions and as milestone anniversaries come round, many like to meet up again.  For some it is to reaquaint lost friendships and for others, its about sharing a link in time, and finding out that those who they might not have been close to at school, thanks to the passage of time, they now share common interests.

We have heard increasing number of  stories of former classmates getting together and often a WhatsApp group is mentioned. Many alumni have found it a great way for people to get in touch, arrange get togethers and also organise reunions at Old Hymerian events.

While the Development Office won't set up WhatsApp groups, it is keen to support them and facilitate with them.  We are unable to share contact details but we are able to help provide means of contact.

We would love to know how many Hymers reunion WhatsApp groups are around, so that if we do get requests for people who would like to reconnect with their peers, we can help them establish contact.  Currently, we know of two main and very active WhatsApp groups, for the Class of 1985 and the Class of 1996.  Please contact the Development Office (oldhymerians@hymers.org) with details of yours!
