We were delighted to welcome back Felicity Morehen (OH 989-1999) to speak with our Sixth Form Economics and Business Studies students. Fliss was warmly greeted by Mr McTeare, who taught her A Level Business Studies during her time at Hymers and first sparked her passion for the subject in the classroom.

She shared her inspiring journey from studying European Politics and Spanish at University of Manchester to her current role as a freelance HR consultant based in Kent. Fliss spoke about her year out in Industry on her degree course and how much experience that gave her in a different country learning about new cultures and the world of work.  After completing her degree, Fliss began her career on the Marks & Spencer graduate scheme, going on to spend more than 20 years working in large corporate organisations, predominantly at M&S.

Drawing on her extensive experience, particularly in talent acquisition. Fliss offered valuable advice on applying for roles, preparing for interviews, and standing out in competitive recruitment processes.
