We were delighted to welcome back Wykeland Managing Director, Old Hymerian, Dominic Gibbons (OH 1979-89) with two of his employees, also Old Hymerians Tom Jeffers (OH 2012–21) and Natalia Rudd (OH 2005–10) to Hymers College this week. Their visit marked a special occasion, the debut of our brand-new Senior Boys Football kit, proudly sponsored by Wykeland.
Tom and Natalia enjoyed seeing the team take to the pitch in the striking new kit for the first time. The match was a memorable one, with Hymers securing an emphatic 9–1 victory against William Farr School. This outstanding performance means the team now progresses to the last 32 of the prestigious EFSA National Cup.
We are incredibly grateful to Wykeland for their generous support, which helps enhance the experience for our students and strengthens the connection between Hymers and our alumni community. It was fantastic to see Tom and Natalia back at Hymers, sharing in the success of the team and the spirit of Hymers.
