Rachel's first job at Red Bull

We were delighted to hear Rachel’s fantastic news about her new role at Red Bull Racing and Red Bull Technology. During her time at Hymers, Rachel was a diligent student and a passionate motor enthusiast, always demonstrating the drive and curiosity that have clearly propelled her forward.

Rachel has continued to give back to the next generation of Hymers students, recently speaking to our Engineering Society about her experiences and the OH network she connected with during her time here. In her yearbook, her “plans for the future' were to travel the world working in F1, a dream she has now turned into reality.

Rachel has recently completed her Master of Engineering, M - Eng, Automotive Engineering at Loughbrough where she went to study after leaving Hymers Sixth Form. Rachel studied, Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Product Design and we have enjoyed watching her motorsport journey along the way. Rachel has worked at Mercedes AMG in this time too- she is a fantastic ambassador for females in motor sport and STEM and has been a huge part of this network since school.

Good luck, Rachel, with this exciting new venture. We know you will be amazing!

Fresh off finishing my exams at Loughborough University last week, today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. I’m thrilled to share that I have started my new position as an Off-Car Coordinator at Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology! I can’t wait to see what the future holds with such an incredible team.
