Old Hymerian Abigail Beckwith (2018-2020) is incredibly proud to share that she has officially graduated from Loughborough University with a First Class Honours BSc (Hons) in Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying, achieving 71.9% overall!
As part of her degree, she also completed a Diploma in Industrial Studies, earned during a rewarding placement year with Balfour Beatty, where she gained hands-on experience and developed key industry skills.One of the highlights of her final year was achieving a First (75%) in her dissertation, where she explored “How force majeure clauses in NEC contracts have evolved post-pandemic and their practical implications”.
The past few years have been full of growth, challenge, and achievement, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported me along the way. I'm so excited to see where my career takes me with Balfour Beatty plc!
