Befreen Jones, OH 2014-23 is moving in to her 2nd year of her Archaeology course at Reading and came to speak to a group of students at Hymers College, who are considering a similar pathway.
Befreen spoke about her course and gave some suggestions of what she looked for when she was choosing her University. Befreen went to her first choice University but enjoyed visiting others, looking around the facilities and campuses to help make her choice.
We had a group of very inquisitive students, who had many questions about registering for archaeological digs and when to start. Befreen spoke about the benefit she believes this had on her personal statement and supported her application to her first course University.
It was a pleasure to have Befreen back with us and she enjoyed a trip down memory lane, visiting her former teachers to say hello whilst she was here.
We are delighted to hear her passion for fencing continues and that next year she will be Captain of the University of Reading Fencing team. Good luck, Befreen!
Thanks for returning to school.
