Anuja and Aleks on their wedding day

Anuja and Aleks told us about their wedding:

We had a catholic and Hindu wedding.  We married on 21st(Catholic ceremony)/22nd (Hindu ceremony) June 2019.

The Catholic wedding was held at St Charles Borromeo church in Hull. The Hindu wedding and reception was at Harlaxton Manor in Grantham.

I was at Hymers from year 4, right through to year 13 (left Hymers in 2010). Aleks joined in year 10 and finished in year 13 (he left in 2009).

We met on the 921 school bus! We started being girlfriend and boyfriend from the beginning of when I was in year 12, Aleks in year 13, and have never stopped being together since!

Aleks studied Engineering at Warwick university and I studied medicine at Hull York University.

We now live in Oxfordshire. I work at Oxford University Hospitals as a radiology registrar and Aleks works for Jaguar Land Rover designing the batteries for their electric vehicles.
