After finishing my university degree I found myself volunteering at The Hull Animal Welfare Trust in South Cave which then led to the opportunity of joining their team as a staff member. Despite not having had an animal behaviour background I found learning about it really interesting and have been thoroughly enjoying myself here. Since our charity is completely funded through public donations one of the aspects of the job is coming up with ideas and events that could be done in order to do some fundraising.
In April we holding a "50 miles in April" sponsored walk in order to raise vital funds for the charity, whilst also encouraging everybody to get outside and be active.
We have created a pack for those who would like to partake in this challenge which includes a sponsor form and also a mile chart to keep track of their progress throughout April.
