Hannah Meadway performs in Birmingham Symphony Hall

On the 17 January 2026, I sung with Contemporary Choir Warwickshire in Birmingham Symphony Hall. The choir consists of 400 members, all of whom have different levels of singing experience. I joined the choir shortly after moving to the area, as I wanted to continue singing and performing, which was a large part of my school life.

While at Hymers I was involved in many choirs led by Mr Pybus and Mrs Riley, and ever since leaving the school I wanted to keep singing! Within the concert we sung a range of songs from Toto to Hamilton, and Eva Cassidy to Whitney Houston! The choir raised money for the Myton Hospices which is a local charity in the area. It was such an uplifting evening and to sing in such a gorgeous venue made the event even better. I look forward to performing in more concerts with them!
