We were delighted to hear from Old Hymerian, Peter Coates (1979-88). As a result of his passion for night time photography, Peter has been approached after his astronomy images were found online. 

I can finally shout out about this, I'm so chuffed to have been contacted out of the blue back in February 2025 by a local band who had seen my astronomy images on line and wanted to use one in the artwork of their next album. Months of discussions followed with me sending different edits of a range of my best images, finally settling on one that stood out. I can't believe I've kept quiet about this since then but now, Seafret have announced the release of their next album, 'Fear of Emotion', available to pre-order now.
