Richard Youden (OH 1991-2001) attended Hymers and studied Electronic Engineering at Bristol, after this he continued his studies and graduated in Robotics from the University of the West of England. 

We were delighed to welcome Richard back to Hymers virtually, from North Carolina recently to talk to our Sixth form students about their engineering ambitions and pathways after Hymers. Richard works at Toyota Racing Development USA as an Electronic Systems Engineer and his extensive career within the motor industry has seen him work at Honda, Williams F1 and Volvo. 

We had some super-keen motor enthusiasts in attendance who thoroughly enjoyed learning about Richard's expertise and experience!

Thanks, Richard. We were delighted that you could join us back on Hymers Avenue with a 5 hour time difference, thank you for giving us your time and the early start!  Richard's brother Alex also attended Hymers (OH 2004-14) and is now the Founder of successful 3D printing company, NFire Labs.
