The Development Office recently held our first event in Leeds. We visited The Lost and Found Leeds Club for a drinks evening on Thursday 23 February (2023). We were delighted to catch up with former students who we hadn't seen for a while and Headmaster, Justin Stanley enjoyed meeting many students from former years.
By way of a lucky coincidence, one alumna happened to be at the venue and spotted our Old Hymerian banners, before joining us for the evening. Good conversation flowed with discussions on what people were up to if they worked or lived near to Leeds and reminiscing on their time spent at Hymers College.
Since the event, we received some lovely comments about our visit, including:
Thanks. It was good to see you too. Hopefully you will do it again before too long. How has it been 30 years! The school sounds in fantastic shape and it felt great to re- connect. I look forward to keeping in touch a lot more.
Thank you for arranging the event. I missed the event on Facebook so really a coincidence I was there. It was a nice surprise though!
