Helen Mary Saunders studied at Hymers College between 1990 and 2000, before gaining a 2:1 in Business Management and Retail at Loughborough University.  She joined Hudgell Solicitors 4 years ago, first as the General Manager of Marketing before taking on the role of Customer Excellence & Onboarding Manager.

She returned to Hymers to talk to the Law Society with Neil Hudgell, the Managing Director and owner of Hudgell Solicitors.

Thank you Hymers College for inviting us to speak to your law society and to the students for giving up their lunchtime. It was lovely to see and hear from so many students interested in a career in law. Neil was brilliant as always and I did a sterling job operating the PowerPoint. Seriously, it was great to be back presenting and at my old school. It was lovely to see Justin on the way in, he always makes us feel welcome and my favourite teacher , Mr Exley on the way out.

Helen also is Vice President of the Old Hymerians Association and moves into the role of President, taking over the reins from Emily Pennack in September 2022. Helen has been a valuable member of the OH community for the last two years and has enjoyed meeting other Hymers alumni at our events.
