Congratulations Daniel Pashley

Good news for Daniel in his work at the European Commission
Daniel Pashley
Daniel Pashley

Daniel was at Hymers Junior and Senior School between 1980 and 1990.  He left Hymers to study languages at King's College London and later completed an MA in Interpretating and Translation.

He has spent the last few years working for the European Commission and has recently been successful in becoming Unit Manager for Swedish Interpretation there.

He is passionate about languages and stated;

Swedish is a language I like very much, and it belongs to not one but two very beautiful countries, Sweden and Finland. It is a great pleasure for me to make my small contribution to the Swedish language in Europe, and to be able to have more contact with the Nordic countries.

Congratulations Daniel and good luck in your new role.
