It is with deep sadness to inform you that Ian Walker passed away peacefully at home in Torquay on 11 June 2026, aged 88 years.
Ian attended Hymers College from 1945 until 1953. He loved sport throughout his school years - football, tennis, cricket, cycling - and recalled having a wonderful time with his friends on a school skiing trip to Kandersteg in Switzerland.
Ian was happily married to Lyn Turner for 63 years before Lyn sadly passed away in 2023. Ian is survived by his four children, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
