Millie Eason Appointed to Law School Honour Roll

Millie Eason (OH 2014-19) is studying law at Northumbria University

Millie studied at Hymers College between 2014 and 2019, gaining 10 GCSEs and 4 A Levels.  During the sixth form, she participated in the Mentoring Program that is run in the school.

She has continued her education at Northumbria University where she is studying law.  At university, she is the current president of ELSA (European Law Students Association) Northumbria for Moot Court Competitions and also a student legal advisor at the University Student Law Office.

Recently she has been pleased to announce that as a result of her academic work in her second year, she was appointed to the Law School Honour Roll for the academic year 2020-21.  The Honour Roll is an annual celebration of academic excellence and is awarded to the top 10% of students of their year.

I am very excited to have been appointed to the law school honour roll for academic excellence! Last year I struggled with motivation as a result of online learning and so I am delighted that my hard work and determination has payed off.

Congratulations Millie and good luck with the rest of your course!
