On Wednesday 4 September 2024, the first day back of the new academic year, Hymers College hosted the annual President's Cup.  The President's Cup involves our current first senior teams in rugby, hockey, and for the first time, football, taking on our 'recent leavers' Old Hymerian teams.

The school's First Teams were victorious in rugby and hockey, but it was over a game of football that the Old Hymerians triumphed.  The final scores were:

  • Football: Old Hymerians won 4-2
  • Rugby: Hymers College First Team won 12-10
  • Hockey: Hymers College First Team won 3-0

It was a wonderful day, and lovely to see how keen our Old Hymerians were to come back and play sport at the school!
