A huge thankyou to Old Hymerian, John Fairest who travelled in from Lincolnshire recently to take some fantastic drone footage on a sunny(but windy) Saturday at Hymers. The cricket pitches from above are looking at their best and a great accolade to Graham, our Head Groundsman who is retiring this Summer after 44 years service. Graham has kept the cricket pitches looking this immaculate since the school days of many of you reading this.
John is a member of the Lincolnshire Airspace User Group, which regularly meets at RAF bases; earlier this year we met at RAF Cranwell, where Prince William trained. John has also kindly offered to speak with any current students who are exploring a future pathway in commercial drone or aviation operations, Thanks, John for all of your support with sharing these images- alongside a very busy day job too!
