Nick Aitken,OH, returned to school for the first time since he left in 1996 to attend Newcastle University. Nick has been working in sport and languages for 20 years, and currently works for UEFA as a Media Officer and runs a sports translation agency.
After ten years living in Spain, Nick is now back in East Yorkshire and wanted to show his wife and two sons where it all began and to see what has changed over the past 25-plus years! Nick and his two siblings all attended Hymers, as did their father and their cousins, and it was great to meet another generation of Aitkens back at the school.
We look forward to seeing Nick again soon in his support of our Language and Culture Society for Year 12.
