Life After Hymers |
We were pleased to hear from James Davis, OH 2010-20, who recently graduated from the University of Manchester with a distinction in MSc Finance. Whilst at university, fellow alumnus, Tom Edmiston (OH 2018-22) invited James to join the University of Manchester Darts Society.
I am delighted to share that I graduated from the University of Manchester with a Distinction in Master of Finance (MSc Finance). From moving to Manchester in September of 2023, this experience proved thoroughly enjoyable and further helped me understand myself, particularly in having enough balance!! Everyone knows that moving can be difficult, whether it is a new school when you are younger, moving to a new area or, in my case, a new area and university. However, the people around me helped support me through this, giving me the foundation to achieve this goal.
I had a wonderful time in Manchester, and I regularly met up with my fellow Old Hymerian, Tom Edmiston at the University of Manchester Dart's society.
Now I am preparing for the next steps, applying for jobs in Investment Banking, with a strong interest in Global Markets.
Congratulations, James.
