Sophie Kershaw attended Hymers from 2003 to 2010, before studying Modern Languages at the University of Nottingham.  She is currenly an Internal Audit Senior Associate at PwC.

She has recently been nominated for two awards, which will be announced later in the year.

OUTstanding100 LGBT+ Future Leaders list

Sophie was recognised in the OUTstanding100 LGBT+ Future Leaders list, sponsored by Yahoo Finance.  These awards aim to shine a light on future leaders who are breaking down barriers and creating more inclusive workplaces across the world.

British LGBT Awards

The British LGBT Awards 2022 shortlist has been announced, including Olly Alexander and Lady Gaga amongst the celebrity nominees. In the business category, Sophie has been nominated for ‘Future Leader’.

“These awards shine a light on those who have stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the LGBT+ community, during what has been another very challenging 12 months for the community,” said British LGBT Awards founder Sarah Garrett.
