Finlay studied at Hymers College from 2008 to 2016 and has since pursued a career as a professional Ice Hockey player.  He recently updated us with what he has been up to since leaving the school.

"I started at Hymers in year four and left after my GCSEs in 2016. Since then, I moved to America to continue my studies and further my athletic development at Northwood School in Lake Placid, New York. I stayed there for three years until returning to England to pursue a career as a professional Ice Hockey player.

I am currently in my third professional season playing in the UK’s Elite League for the Manchester Storm whilst studying in my final year at university."
