| Life After Hymers |
Forty-three years ago, Keiran Moses (OH Parent), Jeremy David Ross (OH 1971–81), and Jonathan Leafe (OH 1971–79) joined forces with fellow musicians Bill McKeown and Mark Elvidge to form the band Moscow after their previous group, The Odds, disbanded.
Jonathan Leafe recalls:
We played extensively across the UK, but the standout moment came in 1983 when we performed at the iconic Hammersmith Odeon in front of a live audience of 3,500 and a BBC television audience of six million. It was an unforgettable experience.
Now, decades later, the band has signed with Bin Liner Records to release a definitive double album featuring every track they ever performed and had suitable recordings for.
We’re thrilled with the result. Keiran’s work on the remastering is superb. While we released an album under the name Moscow for Pleasure 12 years ago, this collection brings together all the originals. If this marks the end of my musical journey, it’s a fitting bookend.
The album, released on 31st October, is available on vinyl, CD, and all major streaming platforms, a celebration of a band whose legacy spans more than four decades.
