Last week Alum, Raj Shah was invited to the House of Lords in recognition for being a finalist for two awards 1) Financial Wellbeing Champion of the Year 2021 and 2) Charity Champion of the Year 2021, there were 5 finalists in each category from circa 20,000 financial planners nationwide. The awards are as listed:
Charity Champion: This category seeks to reward an advisory firm that has gone above and beyond in its efforts to help others over the past 12 months. The judges were looking for a genuine commitment to charity endeavors.
Financial Wellbeing Champion: This award recognises an individual who excelled this year in promoting the value of financial wellbeing to consumers. This individual should be a true champion of why planning, not products, matter in clients’ lives, banging the drum for how coaching and other techniques can revolutionise our relationship with money.
Raj's business is Blue Wealth Capital which he started in 2009. They are independent financial and estate planners in Sheffield and look after the hard-earned wealth and assets of families around the UK. The business has a variety of awards, very well deserved to all of you at Blue Wealth Capital.
