A Leap into Creativity

Lauren Gaze, OH 2012-18 has embraced full time freelance life

After leaving school, I knew university wasn’t the right path for me. I wanted a hands-on learning experience in a creative field. I started an apprenticeship in digital marketing with a company in the education sector, where I earned a Level 3 Digital Marketer qualification and discovered how much I enjoyed the work.

Creativity, especially photography, has always been a passion of mine. Friends and family started asking me to manage their social media and carry out professional photoshoots, which inspired me to take the leap and start my own creative agency at 21.

In February 2025, I left my full-time role to pursue my business full time. Today, I provide social media management, photography, drone services, and design for a range of individuals and businesses across Yorkshire - and I’m loving every minute of it.
