Life After Hymers |
Sushant recently delivered a talk to our Engineering Society.
Whilst at Hymers, he achieved 9A*s and an A at GCSE, before gaining 5A*s at A-Level in Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
From Hymers, he went to University of Cambridge where he gained a Master's Degree in Information and Computer Engineering.
During the summer holidays at university, Sushant completed an internship at C4DI in 2016 and spent 3 months in 2017 as a software engineer at Hawk-Eye Innovations Ltd.
In 2018 he was part of the Program for Research in Science and Engineering (PRISE) at Harvard University working in the Visual Computing Group (VCG), to implement a server-client solution for large volume-rendering data sets.
Since graduating from university, he has worked for Amazon Web Services as a Software Development Engineer. He is currently waiting to start a new role as a software engineer in a trading firm in a couple of weeks. Good luck in the new role!
Both at Hymers and whilst at university he played cricket and was Captain in 2019 for Emmanuel College Cricket Club.
Congratulations Sushant on your successes and thank you for talking to our Engineering Society.
