Andy returns to watch his sons play Rugby.

OH, Andy Hewitt returned to school to watch his sons play Hymers at rugby last weekend. Andy now lives in Yorkshire with his family and enjoyed returning to watch his boys play on the field he played on a couple of decades before. We look forward to showing you around next time Andy. Yes, boys, you won, and well done! We will get you next time...

Andy and his sister Jenni both attended Hymers. Jenni was one of the first intakes of girls in 1989 when the school went fully co-ed. Andy and Jenni were not the only generation of Hewitts to attend, their cousins attended too.

" I always love coming back, nice to see the changes but also reminisce too. The school certainly brings back fond memories for me. Also poignant to see the tree planted in front of the memorial hall for Sarah Dickinson who was one of our school friends who we very sadly lost that last year at school "
