| John Hymers' Bursary Fund |
Old Hymerian, Denys Fell (1959-1969) has very generously donated £2500 for the John Hymers Bursary Fund aftter running the Cape Town marathon in May this year. As an experience runner, he ran it because it’s undergoing qualification to be the 8th world major. In late 2025, Denys completed the Sydney Marathon, marking his official completion of all seven World Marathon Majors (London, Boston, New York, Chicago, Berlin, Tokyo, and Sydney)
Denys isn't shy of running marathons and when we came back to Hymers to a Rugby lunch event last year we throughly enjoyed hearing about all of his running adventures. He is an inspiration to us all, running marathons and farming in Holderness. Thank you, Denys for your generosity ahead of our Giving Day. We truly appreciate your support.
