Student modelling the donated kit

Hymers College Sports Department were very grateful to receive a donation of cricket kit from former Hymerian, Rob Snow, who attended the school from 1967 until 1973.

My cricket playing days are now over and my kit is just gathering dust in the loft.  I wasn’t much interested in cricket before I started at Hymers but I found once I started playing that I was reasonably good at it and ended up playing for the second and first elevens.  Maybe my old kit can help another student do the same.

The bag contained:

  • Duncan Fearnley Magnum bat
  • Pair of Pads
  • Thigh pad
  • Pair of batting gloves with inner gloves
  • Box
  • Ball
  • Slazenger kit bag.
  • There’s also some clothing (all cleaned):
  • 2 x caps
  • 5 x shirts
  • 3 pairs of trousers
  • Box briefs
  • 2 pairs of boots.

Thank you Rob for your kind donation.
