After leaving Hymers, she continued her education at Newcastle University where she studied Philosophy and gained First Class Hours at the end of June (2022). She will now remain at Newcastle University as she has recently started a new job there as Education Assistant for Philosophy.
During her course, she studied modules that included Critical Thinking, World Philosophies, Consciousness, Art & Technology, The Networked Society, Ethics & The Modern World amongst many more.
She also completed Independent Research Projects entitled "An investigation into the ways in which consumer behaviour has changed as a result of the pandemic, how big tech companies are using this change for profit and the social implications of this" and "A philosophical investigation into the effect of precarious work on identity construction and formation in post-modern capitalist society".
Congratulations Louisa on your hard work.
