Fiona was one of the first intake of girls to go all the way through the Senior School, from 1989 to 1996.
During her time at Hymers she excelled at music and was an acomplished pianist, singer and clarinetist. Her love of music has continued into her adult life.
Recently she has composed a 'Sonata for Piano', which will premiere at the concert she is hosting in Barton on Saturday 7 May.
As well as performing on the piano, Fiona also leads the Barton Ladies Singing Group in the concert. They are a unison singing group made up of ladies who are in the wider civic Barton Ladies group who love to sing. Fiona also sings with St Mary's Church Choir, who are also performing in the concert as well as other local choirs.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
