Hymers College was established under the will of Reverend John Hymers as a school "for the training of intelligence in whatever social rank of life it may be found" and since opening in 1893 it has remained true to his wishes. Hymers College is not a school for bright and wealthy children.

We want to be able to give families choices and create futures and recognise potential across all sections of our society.

The Development Office exists to enrich our student body. In the last school year, our Hymers Community has supported us in so many ways and has had a huge positive impact on over 1000 students' lives at our school. It is thanks to so many of you that we can add value to our students each day. Members of the Board of Governors, the Head Master, and the Development Office would like to thank all those who have contributed to the school. We value each and every gift no matter what the proportion of your time and your money please join us to celebrate our founder and his mission.

This event is free and please do attend as our guest for a light lunch and refreshments. Should you wish to support our fundraising mission, you can give a one-off donation on booking.
