What makes this nominee inspiring?

Although Tom only attended Hymers for two years to study his A levels, the fantastic sports facilities surely made an impression upon him playing on the first team Rugby and regularly playing tennis, swimming and strength training. He took his love of sport through University with him studying sports and exercise science at Leeds Metropolitan University then doing a masters in exercise physiology. He played for Leeds Tykes making his debut as a substitute in the 30–18 win over Doncaster Knights at Headingley Carnegie Stadium. He then became an academy strength and conditioning coach for Huddersfield Giants RLFC then to the impressive title of performance support officer for the English Institute of Sport supporting the GB Olympic weightlifters and Paralympic Powerlifters in preparation for London 2012. He is now a performance manager for British Weightlifting.
