What makes this nominee inspiring?

Whilst studying at Hymers, Neil was a keen rugby player, captaining the highly successful 1976 school 1st XV and also playing all of the matches in the ‘ Grand Slam ‘ winning England Under 19 team of 1977. He attended Cambridge University, studying for an engineering sciences degree and where he also continued his rugby. In 1979 he played in the Varsity Match against Oxford to become the first and only, to date, Rugby Blue from Hymers. After graduation, Neil subsequently qualified in accountancy and pursued careers in senior finance roles. Over the last 19 years, Neil has been Chief Executive of the Harrogate based quoted company Vp plc, operating in both the UK and Overseas with c 3000 employees. Until very recently, he also acted as a non-executive director at Wykeland Group Limited a leading property development company based in Hull.
