Dr Emily Mould is Head of Business Development at the Children's Cancer Institute in Sydney, Australia. Emily moved from the UK to Australia nine years ago and spent 5 years working as a postdoctoral researcher and then Program Manager setting up the Zero Childhood Cancer Program. This program is a national precision medicine clinical trial for children with cancer which uses cutting edge technologies to find the genetic drivers of each child's cancer and recommend personalised treatments. This program is world-leading and has helped over 1000 children to date.
In her current role, Emily and her team work with research teams in the Children's Cancer Institute and pair them with new external academic or commercial partners to accelerate the translation of their research into clinical trials or commercial opportunities to ultimately help more children with cancer.
