Call for Players: Hymers vs. Pocklington at Ganton (June 10th)

On Wednesday, 10th June 2026, we return to the prestigious Ganton Golf Club for the 6th annual showdown against our old rivals, Pocklington School.

While this fixture has become a highlight of the sporting calendar, the trophy is currently looking to come back home to Hymers - and we need your help to get it there.

The Match Details

Date: Wednesday, 10th June 2026 - 2pm

Venue: Ganton Golf Club (Championship Course)

Format: Match Play (Hymers College vs. Pocklington School)

The Goal: To reclaim bragging rights and settle the score in this 6-year-old tradition.

Cost - heavily reduced Green Fee of around £50 (normally £235)

Why Join the Team?

We are looking for new players to join our ranks. Whether you are a regular on the circuit or a low-handicapper who hasn't played for the school in years, we want you.

Ganton remains one of the UK's top-tier courses, and there is no better way to experience it than in the heat of a friendly (but highly competitive) local derby.
