Last summer, a group of our Old Hymerians returned for lunch back at school with our Development Office staff, Headmaster and former teachers. Over a delicious buffet menu, they shared stories and insights, with attendees ranging from graduates of the 1970s to those from the 2020s! It was a powerful reminder of how our alumni network spans decades but remains united by a shared passion for collaboration and professional growth. These meet-ups are more than just a chance to reconnect—they’re about leveraging the strength of our diverse community to spark new ideas, forge professional connections, and make a lasting impact.
2025 celebrates the 30th year of the opening of The Judi Dench Theatre. You may have been a student or former staff member here prior to the theatre being built or performed in a school production in this wonderful space, or a member of our very important tech crew. We would like to welcome you back to see performances from our current students and perhaps you may be brave enough to share your creative arm on the stage yourself.
We have arranged the day to include detailed tours of the inside and outside of school buildings, so we can find your old classrooms and show you what has changed, with no rush and another chance to explore the school archives.Our event promises a delicious 2-course buffet lunch with your choice of drink. Take a stroll around the School with small group tours, exploring both the inside and out of the Senior School buildings - if you have any special requests of places to visit please do let me know.
Reconnect with old friends, reminisce about shared experiences, and create new memories. Tickets are £20 to reserve your place as spaces are limited, and will include a 2-course buffet lunch, drinks (choose from hot drinks, soft drinks, wine or fizz!), as well as tea and coffee to follow. Join us for a day filled with nostalgia, camaraderie, and a stroll down memory lane.
