I’m looking for a number of you to to take part in the Inaugural Golf match between Old Hymerians and Old Pocklingtonians playing for the Friendship Trophy. Wednesday, 11th August meet at 2pm for 3pm Tee. at *Ganton Golf Club, near Scarborough. Lunch will be provided in the clubhouse before. A big thank you to the The Captain of the Old Pocklingtonians is Steve St.Quinton for organising their team. If you’ve a World Handicap System of between scratch and 18 you’re more than welcome.
The cost is £40 for the green fee (for non members - normal rate £130) and £10 for lunch and drinks before.
*Ganton just hosted the prestigious R&A Seniors Open and will be hosting the EGU Brabazon trophy the week after our tournament. The course is in as good a condition as I’ve seen it in the 12 years I’ve been a member.
